Scripture- 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Many of us have read stories in the Bible of great heroes of the faith. These people were not perfect or had their whole lives together but they all had one thing in common; faith in God.
Sometimes we feel as though God cannot use us unless we have everything all figured out. This is far from the truth. Jacob was a trickster who stole his brother’s birth right, yet God used him to birth the 12 tribes and nation of Israel. The apostle Paul was a mass murderer of the Christians yet Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus and changed the course of his life and ministry.
God shapes us even when we have our faults into the people that He wants us to be; His Power is made perfect when we are weak. Like these heroes, we too can step out in faith and allow God to take the little that we have, whether it be our talents or resources and use it to bring glory to His name.
So why don’t you take that step of faith, surrender your life to God and allow Him to shape you into the hero you were meant to be? You were born for greatness!
